Grown-Up Swimming Monday Wrap Up

As Grown-Up Swim Leagues start popping up across the country, it can be difficult to keep track of all the goings on. That’s why, when there are lots of Grown-Up Swimming Events going on, we’ll wrap it all up here on Flip Turn Follies

Atlanta - North

The Roswell Rapids were not only gracious hosts for North Division’s second meet of the season, they also managed to win quite handily. A number of teams have confirmed that they had multiple swimmers who couldn’t make the meet, so Roswell shouldn’t expect a cakewalk if they hope to continue their win streak.

Atlanta - South

Congratulations to Glenwood Park for holding off Chastain Park and Garden Hills. Meet 2 will be the real test to see if Glenwood Park can keep their undefeated streak going and to see how the rest of the South Division responds in Meet 2

Jacksonville

While The Chlorine Machines ended with the lead for meet 1, it is far from a comfortable one. With 3 teams nipping at the heels of the Chlorine Machines, Jacksonville has the potential to have the most evenly-matched teams I’ve ever seen in a Grown-Up Swim League. Anyone could come out of Meet 2 with the win, so keep an eye on The Sunshine State.

DMV

The Top 4 teams from Meet 1 decided to shake things up a bit with Hard Times landing on top in Meet 2. They say hard times never last, and with Slowbro SC less than 50 points behind them in second place that may be especially true. But as we are quickly learning anyone can snatch a win in DMV, so only a fool would try to predict who ends up on top in Meet 3
