September 1st Grown-Up Swimming Practices
Hi Grown-Ups,
Happy September! Let's talk about our hips and swimming.
Swimming Tip #3: Using your hips to drive your stroke.
Swimming is very interesting in the way it works sometimes. For freestyle and backstroke, the movement of our body, the strokes that we take are actually driven by our hips. When you push your hips up or down, they cause your arms to stretch and reach forward or back, driving your stroke.
Try turning your hips to bring your arms across in these practices.

Practice One: Aerobic
Perfect effort, holding for extended periods of time!
2. Practice Two: Stroke Set
Best average! What is best average? Best average is where you aim to hold the same pace across all of the reps, rather than super fast on the first one and then fading.
Hope you enjoy!
